Anionic Polyacrylamide

Anionic Polyacrylamide

Anionic Polyacrylamide is an ultra-high molecular weight polymer obtained by copolymerization of acrylamide and acrylate. It has a molecular weight of 40-20 million and has strong adsorption bridging effect. It can be used according to different applications and users’ requirements for product performance. Molecular weight used.

Features and performance:

  • Flocculation: PAM can make suspended matter through electric neutralization, bridging adsorption, and flocculation.
  • Adhesiveness: it can be bonded by mechanical, physical and chemical action.
  • Resistance reduction: PAM can effectively reduce the frictional resistance of the fluid, adding a small amount of PAM in water can reduce the resistance by 50-80%.
  • Thickening PAM has a thickening effect under neutral and acid conditions, when the pH value is above 10, PAM is easy to hydrolyze. Thickening will be more pronounced when in a semi-mesh structure.

Application range:

It is mainly used for flocculation and sedimentation of various industrial wastewater, sedimentation and clarification treatment, such as steel plant wastewater, electroplating plant wastewater, metallurgical wastewater, coal washing wastewater and other sewage treatment, sludge dewatering, etc. It can also be used for drinking water clarification and purification treatment.

Packaging and storage:

  • Polyethylene plastic bag inside and woven bag outside, each bag weighs 25 kg.
  • Do not mix, transport and store with toxic substances. Store in a dry, ventilated and cool place. It will not affect its use if it gets damp.
  • The storage period of solid products is one year, and the storage period of liquid products is half a year.
